Programs

Your child will have a safe, secure home away from home where they will play, learn, and grow with friends.  We offer your infant a nurturing, warm, and loving environment starting at six weeks old. We are committed to smoothly transitioning from your home to ours. Our experienced staff is here to provide nurturing guidance while laying out the foundation for continuous growth and development. Staff help facilitate developmentally appropriate activities and classroom management daily.

Our Program offers opportunities for children to learn through play and academics. We provide an engaging environment with intentionally planned learning experiences encompassing every aspect of classroom life. While individually nurturing each child, we also offer a high level of interaction with daily whole-group instruction to promote social skills development, balanced attention to play time, and the development of each child’s confidence, self-esteem, and love of learning and individual interests.

We are focused on learning areas such as dramatic play, movement, music, numbers, creative arts, language, and sensory exploration. Preparing Your Child for Life-Long Learning.

NBC’s Learn and Play offers a stimulating environment that promotes good citizenship, communication skills, respect for one another, fair sportsmanship, and many activities. Learning at Noni Bear Childcare continues when school is out for the summer. Here, we continue to learn and Play through hours of fun and a curriculum of summer activities. We reinforce the years of learning through games, gardening, trips, and arts and crafts and build on the academics they have already learned in school.

Children discover they are separate individuals at this age, develop independence and self-awareness, explore language, and strengthen their bodies every day.

This program is designed to gently introduce your child to the classroom environment's experience and community.

A warm and cozy home away from home welcomes each child. The space is carefully prepared to meet the needs of children in this age group.

Here, we encourage children to observe, question, and seek answers. The curriculum focuses on enriching vocabulary, building receptive and expressive language skills, and fostering self-awareness and socialization. Children can move around the home area and select materials and activities that spark their interest. Children are engaged with materials and are learning their space in the world. They are gently encouraged as they establish everyday life skills, such as feeding themselves snacks, cleaning up, and using the toilet.
